Nicolle and I totally played "hooky" today..We had some days promised to us for a training that we went to and we used one (it will most likely be the only one that I use). We had a great day, first we started with breakfast at Peg's Glorious Ham and Eggs, it was glorious! Then we moved on to a bookstore and bought a "smut" book that everyone has been raving about, its called Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm not a big romance novel reader, I remember reading some Danielle Steel when I was a teenager and imagining that my life was going to turn out like some rich lady who humps her gardner because he's so amazingly handsom and pays more attention to her than her rich husband. Fortunatly my life did not turn out like that, I am neither rich nor humping my gardner. I digress, so off to the mall next so Nicolle could get the first manicure she has had in 16 years, I told her how fabulous it was and when all said and done, it was. I think I will make time next year to make time for myself in my already hectic life. Sometimes a cruise around a bookstore with a good friend does a lot for your soul. Now I am really excited for summer vacation and more reading time and time with my family. I will work hard to fit in some 'me' time..Until then I leave you with this...I'm tippin a 40 to my friend Nicolle..and we didnt even have to break out our AKs...today was a good day..
